Terms of Service
Effective date: April 16, 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of the adult city-chat, meetup RSVP, and private messaging service currently branded as City Singles.
Eligibility
Users must be adults legally able to form a binding agreement. Because the Service is built around meetups at bars and similar venues, the operational default is limited to users who are at least 21 years old unless a particular feature or event expressly states otherwise. We may require users to confirm age, city, and identity-related account details, and we may suspend or remove accounts that provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.
Account Registration
Users must provide accurate, current information and keep credentials confidential. We may refuse service, reclaim usernames, require profile completion, or terminate accounts that are inactive, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise violate these Terms.
Service overview
The Service helps adults discover public meetups, RSVP, communicate in community spaces, and request private chats. City Singles does not guarantee the number of users, the success of any meetup, user compatibility, or that any venue or event will meet expectations.
Public-place meetup model
Meetups are intended to occur in public places. The Service is not the venue operator and does not control venue policies, alcohol service, occupancy, security, pricing, staffing, weather, transportation conditions, or third-party conduct at venues. Users remain responsible for their own safety, transportation, spending, and personal decisions.
User content and conduct
No harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking, impersonation, extortion, spam, scams, or unlawful conduct. No posting of another person's private information without authorization. No false age, location, identity, or eligibility claims. No scraping, bots, reverse engineering, or attempts to bypass rate limits, moderation, or security controls. No use of the Service to arrange illegal activity, unsafe conduct, or activity inconsistent with a public meetup environment.
Moderation and enforcement
We may monitor, filter, rate-limit, remove, refuse, edit, or restrict content and features; suspend messages; remove RSVPs; cancel listings; or terminate accounts to protect the Service, investigate reports, enforce rules, or comply with law. We are not obligated to pre-screen all content or resolve every dispute, complaint, or interpersonal disagreement.
Launch access
City Singles is currently in a free early-user launch. Private chat requests are available without a paid upgrade while launch access remains active. If paid access is introduced later, City Singles will publish updated pricing and checkout terms before those features go live.
Fraud and misuse
We may suspend account features or terminate accounts if we reasonably suspect fraud, abusive conduct, unauthorized use, or behavior that creates legal or reputational risk for the Service or other users.
Meetup postings and RSVPs
We may create, edit, cancel, reschedule, cap, or remove meetups at any time. RSVPs do not guarantee entry, seating, service, attendee count, chemistry, or any particular outcome. We may impose city, age-range, conduct, or feature-based eligibility rules where lawful and properly disclosed. Users are responsible for verifying venue rules, dress codes, age restrictions, and any purchases they choose to make.
Safety disclaimer
The Service cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, sobriety, availability, or behavior of any user or third party. Users assume the risks inherent in social interaction and attending public venues. Users should meet in public, tell a friend where they are going, arrange their own transportation, and contact emergency services when needed.
Intellectual property and submitted content
The Service, software, branding, design, and original platform content are owned by City Singles or its licensors. Users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access the Service for personal, non-commercial use subject to these Terms. Users grant City Singles a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, format, store, and distribute submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, improve, market, and secure the Service, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. CITY SINGLES DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. City Singles does not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, venue availability, user compatibility, venue purchases, or any particular result from using the Service.
Limitation of liability and indemnity
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CITY SINGLES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold City Singles harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses arising out of their content, misuse of the Service, violation of law, violation of these Terms, or conduct at meetups or venues.
Changes, termination, and contact
City Singles may modify the Service, features, cities served, and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in a commercially reasonable way and, where required, accepted before they apply.
